EVIT Superintendent

“EVIT changes lives by loving our students and serving our community,” Dr. Chad Wilson said after being appointed superintendent in 2019. “Every day we provide exceptional Career and Technical Education learning opportunities that prepare our students to participate in helping shape a better tomorrow.”

Dr. Wilson received his doctoral degree in education policy and administration from the University of Arizona, a master's degree from Northern Arizona University and a bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona and has more than 25 years of experience in Arizona's public schools working as a middle school history teacher, a principal, associate superintendent and superintendent. 

Under his leadership, EVIT has embraced a spirit of staff collaboration and community service that empowers EVIT employees and strengthens EVIT’s partnerships with school districts and other community organizations. He has worked with the EVIT Governing Board to reduce administrative costs and increase support for teachers and students while being mindful that taxpayer dollars are spent wisely.
