Apprenticeships
Students are continuing to enroll in EVIT’s new registered apprenticeship programs in Airframe Mechanic, Electrical, HVACR (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration), Plumbing and Structural Metal Fabricator (Welding). If your business is interested in becoming an apprenticeship site, please contact Lindsey Gregor at lgregor@evit.edu.
Wrestling partnership
EVIT’s radio station, 88.7FM The Pulse is partnering with Phoenix Championship Wrestling and the Arizona Pro Wrestling Training Center to offer a platform to highlight talented local wrestlers while giving EVIT Radio/Audio Production students real-world experience in production and on-air hosting. The partnership will feature WrestleZona, a student-hosted program on The Pulse. WrestleZona airs at 8 a.m. on Sundays and can also be streamed on www.887ThePulse.com.
