Quality career training
In a new audit of EVIT’s career and technical education programs, the Arizona Department of Education found all EVIT programs to be compliant. In addition, 38 programs were designated as Distinguished (the highest level of quality) and 8 were noted as being Proficient (the second highest level of quality). Congratulations to our faculty for their outstanding work!

Loving their community
Several EVIT programs have kicked off special drives and projects to benefit those in need in the East Valley. The Dental Assistant program is collecting toothbrushes, toothpaste and travel cases for the homeless. Our computer technologies programs have partnered with the Child Crisis Center in the Holiday Angel program to collect gifts for seven foster care youths ages 14 to 17. The Early Childhood Education program is accepting toys for its annual Head Start Toy Drive. And, EVIT’s Medical Assistant programs are adopting three foster care families and will be gathering presents and delivering the gifts to them over the holidays.
Enrollment for 2024-25
EVIT started accepting applications for the 2024-25 school year on Nov. 1, and programs are expected to fill up quickly. This year, more than 6,000 students enrolled at EVIT. To meet the growing needs and interest, EVIT is adding an additional section of Aesthetics that will start in January and end in December 2024.
