Finn Taylor, a Class of 2022 alum, won first place for Best Sportscast and second place in the Best Featured News category. EVIT senior Wes Bowers won first place for Best Public Service Announcement, and senior Rebecca Freeman placed second in the same category. Class of 2022 alum Chloe Fooshee placed second in the Best Public Affairs Show category for her show that paid tribute to late Radio/Audio Production instructor Scott Ragotskie, who passed away in March from cancer. EVIT’s radio station, 88.7FM The Pulse (KVIT), placed second for Best Use of Social Media. The national awards are presented by North Central College in Naperville, Ill., and WONC-FM in honor of ABC Chicago news anchor John Drury.
