What is EVIT?

The East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) is a public, career and technical education district (CTED) that serves Phoenix-area adults and high school students who reside in East Valley school districts.  High school students from Apache Junction, Cave Creek, Chandler, Fountain Hills, Gilbert, Mesa, Queen Creek, Scottsdale, Tempe, Higley, and J.O. Combs spend a half-day at EVIT in a career preparation program and the other half-day at their home high school. Tenth through twelfth grade students can attend EVIT tuition-free.  Bus transportation is provided to and from EVIT by the student’s home school district for most programs. High school students also have the option of enrolling in career and technical education (CTE) classes at their home school. These classes are offered by the school districts and funded by EVIT.

Phoenix-area adults have the opportunity to enroll in EVIT's diverse range of tuition-based programs, including blended classes and exclusive adult-only programs. With classes scheduled throughout the morning, afternoon, and evening sessions, we cater to various schedules. Additionally, EVIT provides associate degree programs for adult learners.
