Explore aviation through our new Aircraft Mechanics Program—and work hands-on with some of the most advanced machines in the world. Learn the skills needed to keep planes maintained and in flight. 

As part of the STEM Academy at EVIT, you'll work with industry partners to learn the most current technology to prepare you for high-tech jobs.

 

Aircraft Mechanics includes instruction in:

turbine layout
fabrication of materials into structural members
aircraft parts and fittings
repair, maintain and service all aircraft components
 
  • Students who successfully complete the two years of this program AND the two year apprenticeship will gain the knowledge and hours needed for an  Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.
