Diesel Technologies Program

The Diesel Technologies program prepares students to inspect, service, and repair diesel engines in trucks, buses, construction equipment, locomotives, and other heavy-duty vehicles.

Through hands-on training and instruction from industry professionals, students gain the skills and experience needed for careers in diesel mechanics.

The program also prepares students to earn ASE certifications, helping them advance in the industry.

Diesel Technologies includes instruction in:

Automotive safety 
Vehicle inspection
Engine performance and repair
Fuel systems
Drive train
Brake systems
Suspension and steering systems
Electrical systems
Diesel technologies instructor demonstrates how to properly use tools
