Mental & Social Health Technician Program

Do you have an interest in counseling, social work or psychology? 
 
The Mental & Social Health Technician program introduces students to the fundamentals of counseling, social work, and psychology. Students learn how to support individuals facing mental health challenges through therapeutic intervention strategies, patient care planning, and social rehabilitation.
 
Training covers clinical interviews, patient evaluation, crisis intervention, substance abuse, and mental health treatment procedures. The program also includes instruction in patient communication, psychotropic medications, record-keeping, and industry regulations.
 
With hands-on experience and real-world applications, students gain the skills to make a meaningful impact in mental and social health careers.
