Do you have an interest in nursing and or helping patients in hospitals or long-term care facilities? 

The Nursing Assistant program prepares students for careers in healthcare, providing hands-on training in patient care under the supervision of instructors who are registered nurses and licensed practical nurses.

Students learn essential skills such as infection control, personal care, communication, and emergency procedures. Training takes place in the classroom, lab, and clinical settings, ensuring real-world experience in hospitals and long-term care facilities.

This program builds a strong foundation for those interested in nursing and patient care, equipping students with the knowledge and confidence to make a difference in the medical field.

Nursing Assistant includes instruction in:

Infection control
Communication and interpersonal skills
Direct patient care 
Safety and emergency procedures
Personal care skills and basic nursing skills
