Physical Therapy Technician Program

Do you have an interest in sports medicine, rehabilitation and physical therapy? 

The Physical Therapy Technician program trains students to assist physical therapists and chiropractors in helping patients recover from injuries and improve mobility.

Students learn rehabilitation techniques, patient care, and therapeutic exercises while gaining hands-on experience in clinical and outpatient settings.

The program covers medical terminology, physical therapy principles, patient communication, and treatment plans.

Through job shadowing and real-world training, students develop the skills needed for careers in sports medicine, rehabilitation, physical therapy, and personal training.

Physical Therapy Technician includes instruction in:

Medical terminology
Principles of rehabilitation and physical therapy
Outpatient care
Long term care
Home health care
Patient communication and education
EVIT physical therapy instructor guides students in yoga exercise
