Are you passionate about welding?

The Welding Technologies program trains students in the skills needed to build a career in metal fabrication and welding.

Through hands-on instruction, students learn Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) using industry-standard tools and thermal cutting equipment.

The program also covers blueprint reading, weldment testing, and safety procedures.

With the opportunity to earn AWS certifications, students gain the expertise needed for careers in the construction, manufacturing, and metalworks industries.

Students will develop a working knowledge of:

Blueprint reading
Shielded Metal ARC Welding (SMAW)
Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW)
Flux Cored ARC Welding (FCAW)
Gas Tungsten ARC Welding (GTAW) with the use of thermal cutting equipment
The tools and equipment for the welding trade
