College Credits & Dual Enrollment

EVIT students can get a jump-start on their college education or advanced degree with dual enrollment and/or college credit through local community colleges while attending EVIT as a high school student.

Dual Enrollment

Dual enrollment is offered at an affordable rate from various community colleges and is updated each year or as changes occur. 

The following EVIT programs currently offer dual enrollment:

Through Mesa Community College:
Digital Animation (2nd year students only)
Mental and Social Health
Radio/Audio Production
Graphic Design
Network Security

Through Scottsdale Community College:
Culinary Arts (1st year students only)

Through Chandler-Gilbert Community College:
Aviation (year 2, Aviation Flight Path only)
Criminal Justice
 
NOTE:  Information is sent to parents of students eligible for dual enrollment at the beginning of each school year.

Prior Learning Assessment 

EVIT students have the ability to receive credit at no cost for college-level learning that was done prior to enrolling at the college. These programs have been articulated for transfer credit to specific programs of study. These credits are only awarded if you enroll at the specific college listed and in the programs as it is listed. This credit is referred to as Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) (A.R 2.2.4).
