The nine East Valley school districts suing EVIT over the proposed IGA (intergovernmental agreement) claim that EVIT refused to negotiate with them. In this video, Superintendent Dr. Chad Wilson explains EVIT has repeatedly offered to negotiate with each district individually to best meet their needs, but those nine districts want to negotiate as a group.
Nine East Valley school districts have sued EVIT over the proposed intergovernmental agreement, alleging CTE underfunding. The districts collectively hold more than $50 million in unspent CTED funds. Superintendent Dr. Chad Wilson explains EVIT’s position.
